Apple’s Visual Intelligence is reportedly set to roll out to the iPhone 15 Pro. According to the blogger John Gruber from Daring Fireball, it should appear with the upcoming iOS 18.4 update. The feature, which is currently exclusive to the iPhone 16 series, is somewhat similar to Google Lens.
The Visual Intelligence feature is essentially an AI and ML-powered tool that uses your phone camera to analyse images, texts and objects, among others. In the US, it can also be used to make reservations and place delivery orders in certain businesses. It was previously launched with the iOS 18.2 update late last year, and has been available on the iPhone 16 series.
Specifically, Visual Intelligence is currently accessible on the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro series via Camera Control, but not the recently launched iPhone 16e. Instead, it has an Action button that can be used to access it. This indicates that the feature will be similarly accessible on the iPhone 15 Pro, via Action button or its Control Centre.
