AMD just made the Radeon RX 9070 Series official, along with its all-new RDNA4 GPU architecture. More importantly, it also released the starting SRPs of the two SKUs, the 9070 and 9070 XT.
As of today, the Radeon RX 9070 will retail from US$549 (~RM2,449) while the the 9070 XT will retail from US$599 (~RM2,673). Again, the heart of these GPUs is the new RDNA4 architecture. Performance-wise, AMD claims that its new GPU is approximately 40% more powerful than RDNA3.

Specs-wise, the Radeon RX 9070 features 56 Compute Units, 16GB GDDR6 graphics memory, a 2520MHz boost clock, and a 220W Total board power (TBP). For the 9070 XT, the card will house 64 Compute Units, have the same amount of graphics memory as the non-XT but running at a higher boost clock of 2970MHz, and a TBP of 304W although AMD did say that some of its board partners will be releasing a variant with 340W.
RDNA4 also introduces more powerful ray-tracing and Machine Learning (ML) capabilities, with the former adding a new box into the ray-tracing engine. Oh, and the new architecture finally introduces Neural Rendering to the Radeon family.
As is the trend, the Radeon RX 9070 Series and the RDNA4 architecture require the necessary software to drive those frames. Enter FidelityFX Super Resolution 4, otherwise known as FSR4. This latest iteration of the upscaling technology introduces upscaling, improved Frame Generation and Radeon Anti-Lag, and Neural Rendering. Even more exciting, FSR4 can be applied to FSR3.1 titles easily too.
AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 Series graphics cards will be available starting 6 March.
