We’ve got a week left before the launch of AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 Series makes its debut right and proper, and already the alleged pricing for the GPUs has started to appear. Over in the US, the outlet MicroCenter may have accidentally listed out a variety of SKUs, with the cheapest seemingly starting at US$649 (~RM2,884).
We say accidentally because, as of this publication, the US hardware retailer has since taken down all mention and evidence of the 9070 cards but, as this is the internet, screenshots were and have been taken.

The cheapest 9070 that was listed on the MicroCenter site was the ASRock CL Triple fan at US$649.99 (~RM2,888), while the most expensive version of it was from PowerColor at US$1,099.99 (~RM4,888), which is very likely a typo or better yet, a placeholder price tag.
And this is because the most expensive version of the 9070 XT, which also comes from PowerColor, is listed with an SRP of US$1,100 (~RM4,888). Despite the card’s performance still being a mystery, we highly doubt the difference in power between it and the non-XT version of the card would warrant such a high price.

We shouldn’t have to say this either but as it stands, AMD hasn’t officially confirmed the pricing for its Radeon RX 9070 Series and as such, the prices we’re seeing right now are merely placeholders, and actual price tags will begin to percolate closer to the launch date. Both the XT and non-XT versions of the series are expected to offer gamers 4K Mainstream gaming, with performance metrics largely within the boundaries of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 5070 and 5070, with the latter expected to launch a full day ahead before the Red Team’s own.
