Cabasse, a French audio company, has brought over its The Pearl Collection speakers to the Malaysian market. The collection consists of six speaker models, starting from RM5,600 and costing upwards of RM160,000, so this is definitely targeted towards audiophiles with deep pockets.
Let’s start with the pièce de résistance: the RM160,000 Cabasse Pearl Pelegrina. Named after a 55-carat pearl, the flagship speaker comes in a pair and delivers an output of 3700W for each speaker. Housed in a 48cm spherical polished mirror metal enclosure on a 130cm Lissajous curve stand, it features a tri-coaxial driver and a 30cm HELD woofer to deliver a dynamic range of 134dB.
Next up is the RM19,000 Pearl Sub, which is a high-definition 2.1-connected active subwoofer. Combining amplification, DAC, streaming, and a high-performance subwoofer in a single unit, it eliminates the need for separate amplifiers with its 25cm woofer that delivers a peak power output of 2000W.

The vanilla model, dubbed simply as the Pearl, costs RM17,000 with a stand and wall bracket that are sold separately at RM2,400 and RM1,300 respectively. Also featuring a tri-coaxial speaker, it’s paired with a 25cm subwoofer that offers distortion-free base and an immersive 360-degree soundstage.

For a complete set, the RM13,000 3-in-1 Pearl Keshi is made up of a subwoofer and two satellite speakers, delivering a total power of 1050W split at 450W for the bass and 300W for each satellite. It supports high-resolution audio with multi-room connectivity, along with support for streaming platforms such as Spotify, Tidal, and Qobuz.

If you need a portable speaker instead, there’s the RM9,000 Pearl Akoya, featuring the signature tri-coaxial driver and a powerful bass loudspeaker. It comes with a protective carry case and a Bluetooth remote, but the optional stand and wall bracket cost RM1,800 and RM900 respectively.

Last but not least, the most affordable of the bunch is the Pearl Myuki, which is priced at RM5,600 with an optional RM900 wall mount. It’s equipped with a DOM 45 full-range loudspeaker and two 12cm bass drivers with a battery life of 12 hours. It delivers audio up to 99dB on its own but when paired with a second speaker in stereo mode, it can reach 109dB.
The Cabasse Pearl Collection uses its proprietary audio technologies including DEAP, DFE, and CRCS. DEAP enhances digital signal processing while DFE analyses audio in real time to adjust the volume to preserve the original recording’s balance. Its CRCS feature allows for the speakers to intelligently adapt the sound to any room or environment. To purchase any of the speakers from the collection, you can head on to its website as well as Centre Circle Audio.
