Earlier this year, images and rumours about the alleged Xiaomi 15 Ultra began making their rounds. Well, the brand seems ready to lay the phone bare, judging from the teaser poster it’s been sending out.
The poster contains three words: The Next Pinnacle, followed by the city, a date, and the time of its event. For the uninitiated, the launch of the alleged Xiaomi 15 Ultra is being held in Barcelona, Spain, on 2 March 2025 at 9PM local time. If you’re still unclear as to why Barcelona and the date: the annual MWC exhibition is held in the city every year.
Little else is known beyond that teaser and Xiaomi is being really tight-lipped on the whole affair. That said, we’re fairly certain at this point that the main camera module being used in the art is that of the 15 Ultra, based on the leaked image that was circulated earlier in January this year.
Unlike the standard 15, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra seemingly uses a circular housing instead of a square. Specs-wise, the phone could house a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, a 50MP short-range telephoto camera, a 1-inch main sensor, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. It will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, running Android 15 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 platform.
