The OnePlus Watch 3 was announced last week, with early adopters already having fun with the smartwatch, in more ways than one. Of course, some of the fun was entirely unintentional, as it involves making fun of a typo and trolling on the internet. Now, the US branch of the brand says that owners of the watch with the typo can get it returned with “no questions asked”.
Said typo was found on perhaps the most common phrase in the world of physical products: Made in China. Except some of the earliest batches of the OnePlus Watch 3 spells it as “Meda in China” instead.

As mentioned earlier, the US branch of the company has acknowledged the issue via its official account on X, noting that the typo “was totally unintentional”. The post goes on to provide two options to those who have already gotten their OnePlus Watch 3 with said typo. One is to “keep it as a super limited edition (it’s one-of-a-kind, after all!)“, with the other being “return it, no questions asked”.
Those who choose to return it will have to wait for awhile to get a replacement though, as the post implies that the company is still waiting for a restock to happen. And with it not yet available locally, it’s probably quite unlikely for any local instances for this to be found.
