Oukitel is a name that, while still relative uncommon, is known for producing some arguably rugged and long-lasting smartphones, such as the WP33 Pro. The company is at it again and this time, it’s seeking funding for the WP100 Titan.
The WP100 Titan is, for lack of a better way of describing it, basically a brick housing a 33,000mAh battery. Yes, 33,000mAh.

Other features of the Oukitel device includes a 6.8-inch display with a resolution of 2,460 x 1,080 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, 16GB RAM, and 512GB of onboard storage. Its main camera is as triple-camera module comprising a 200MP Samsung sensor, a 20MP night-vision sensor, and 2MP macro camera. Around the front, the “phone” houses a 32MP selfie camera.
One of the party piece of the Oukitel WP100 Titan, besides is absurdly long-lasting standby time of 185 days and 12 days of talk time, is the built-in 100 lumen projector. As per the marketing material, that translates into six movies per charge. Not only that, it also has a built-in 1,200 Lumen camping light, making it perfect for its express purpose: the outdoors. Little wonder then that this phone weighs approximately 860g or nearly a full kilogram.

If you’re interested in the WP100 Titan, you can head over to Oukitel’s Kickstarter campaign page. It’s still looking for backers and it’s still got a month to go before the deadline. For that matter, the company is offering an early bird price of US$599 (~RM2,651) for the device alone.
