Baseus is joining the clip-on earbuds trend with its own Bowie MC1, which is by far the most affordable option for this form factor. Not only are the earbuds clip-ons, but they also feature and open-fit design, meaning they are meant to let you hear the noises around you for more awareness.
Similar to the clip-ons from other brands, it uses a flexible c-bridge where the drivers and the battery are placed separately for a more balanced weight distribution. The brand claims that the MC1 features directional sound technology which can minimise sound leakage from the open-fit design.

While it does not have active noise cancellation, it still features noise cancellation during phone calls for a clearer voice. On the battery life, the MC1 can last up to nine hours on a single charge and a total of 40 hours with the charging case. Additionally, it gets Bluetooth 5.4 and an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Baseus Bowie MC1 is available through the brand’s official Shopee store. It costs RM165 for the white version and RM174 for the black version.
