Nubia is preparing to launch a new affordable smartphone called the Focus 2, and ahead of its unveiling, it has made an appearance on the SIRIM database, indicating that it will be arriving here soon. The Focus 2 was listed on SIRIM on 18 February 2025 with the model number Z2462N.
As you can guess from the name, it will be the successor to last year’s Focus 5G, but it is unknown if there will be a second generation for the Pro version. The brand has not revealed any details about the phone yet, but images and specs of the phone already leaked a couple months back.
According to an EU Declaration of Conformity form, the Focus 2 will include three lenses with support for Wi-Fi 5 and will ship with Android 15. Not much else is known about it but for reference, the original model came with a 6.56-inch 720p LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a Unisoc T760 chipset.
For imaging, it only had a 108MP main shooter and a depth sensor, so the third lens of the upcoming device could potentially be an ultra-wide lens. Powering the Focus was a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W charging.
