Keychron has officially introduced the K3 Max keyboard to the Malaysian market, joining the Pro variant, which has been available since the brand’s local debut in 2023. This low-profile mechanical keyboard, originally launched last year, features a compact 75% layout with 84 keys, alongside both wired and wireless connectivity options.
The Keychron K3 Max features PBT double-shot keycaps and is built with an aluminium frame. In Malaysia, the K3 Max is available with Gateron Red Linear and Brown Tactile switches, while the Blue Clicky option has yet to be released. Additionally, its hot-swappable switch design allows users to customise their typing experience without the need for soldering, making it a flexible choice for enthusiasts who frequently change switches.

The keyboard is also equipped with upgraded IXPE acoustic foams, delivering a soft and whisper-quiet typing experience. Meanwhile, resilient latex foams provide enhanced support and responsiveness, ensuring a smooth and durable keystroke feel.
Powered by an ARM Cortex-M4 processor and QMK firmware, the K3 Max supports extensive customisation via the VIA software or web-based platform. Users can remap keys, create macros, and personalise the RGB backlighting, which includes over 22 dynamic lighting effects.

For connectivity, the K3 Max offers Bluetooth, a 2.4 GHz wireless dongle for low-latency performance, and a USB-C wired option. The keyboard can be paired with up to three devices via Bluetooth, allowing seamless switching between desktops, laptops and tablets. It is compatible with both Windows and macOS, with dedicated modifier keys for each operating system and a physical switch for effortless layout switching.
Battery performance is another strong point, providing up to 78 hours of use with the backlighting off—equivalent to around three weeks between charges. When using the backlight, the battery lasts up to 40 hours.

The K3 Max is priced at RM501, and is offered in a single Black colourway. It is available for purchase at the Keychron Malaysia official store, Shopee official store, Lazada flagship store, as well as authorised local retailers.
