We’ve seen the vivo V50 made unofficial appearances a couple of times now, but the phone has finally gotten an official unveiling. Unfortunately, it’s not for the local market – not yet, anyway – but for now it’s gotten its launch in India. And with an official launch comes the official spec sheet.
Starting from the outside, the vivo V50 has a 6.77-inch OLED Full HD+ 120Hz display that’s slightly curved at the edges. Peak brightness is rated at 4,500 nits, so overall the screen is a familiar one to the preceding V40 model. Similarly, the brains of the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, but powering the device is now a 6,000 mAh battery with 90W charging support.

For better or worse, it’s mostly the same story in the camera department, as the vivo V50 has a 50MP main + 50MP wide-angle shooter setup at the back. In front, the familiar 50MP shooter makes a return as well. Rounding out the spec sheet is an IP69 rating and Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15.

Prices for the V50 range from INR 34,999 (~RM1,790) for the 8GB + 128GB configuration, going up to INR 40,999 (~RM2,096) for the 12GB + 512GB config. Worth noting that a Pro model didn’t make an appearance here either.
