Creative has officially released the Aurvana Ace Mimi, one of its latest pairs of earbuds, into the Malaysian market. Unveiled last month, the new earbuds offer high-fidelity audio with sound personalisation and active noise cancellation (ANC).
Its name derives from the fact that it collaborated with sound personalisation and hearing test app Mimi, producing a hearing test on the Creative app for users to create a personalised sound profile. Each bud is fitted with an xMEMS dual-driver system with 10mm dynamic drivers and it supports the LDAC codec as well as Bluetooth 5.3.

The Ace Mimi comes with adaptive ANC but how much noise it can block out is not specified. As for the battery life, it can last up to seven hours on a single charge and up to a total of 28 hours with the charging case that supports wireless charging, although these figures are for when the ANC is disabled. For protection, the buds are equipped with an IPX5 rating for water resistance.
The Aurvana Ace Mimi is currently available for purchase on the brand’s website for RM602. As of writing, it is still not available on its Shopee store, although it will reportedly retail at RM589.
