Nubia has finally launched the V70 Max, its latest entry-level smartphone that is even more affordable than the V70 Design. Despite its lower price tag, however, it offers a much bigger cell capacity for those who want to prioritise battery life.
The V70 Max gets a larger 6.9-inch LCD display with a 720p resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, the budget device runs on the same Unisoc T7200 chipset (a renamed T606 chip) paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. For durability, it comes with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance as well as a claim that it is drop resistant up to 1.5 metres.

On the imaging side, the affordable smartphone features a 50MP main camera on the back alongside two depth sensors while the front houses an 8MP selfie snapper. Powering it is a large 6,000mAh battery with support for 22.5W charging. Connectivity-wise, it supports 4G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC, while for unlocking, it gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The V70 Max is available in green and grey colour options and, as previously leaked, retails at RM399. It can be purchased through the brand’s official Shopee and Lazada stores.
