Nintendo is set to release its Alarmo smart alarm clock for the local market next month on 10 March 2025 via participating retailers nationwide. This is revealed via the product’s dedicated page, which has recently gone live on the company’s Malaysia website.
To recap, the Alarmo initially launched in October last year and was available exclusively to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers in the US and Canada. It features a 2.8-inch LCD screen, a motion sensor, and customisable themes featuring Nintendo characters. It includes game-inspired tunes and sound effects, while the motion sensor allows users to snooze with hand gestures or turn off the alarm by getting out of bed. For manual control, it has a large confirm button, a dial, a back button, and a notification button.

No local pricing has been confirmed for the public release of the Alarmo, but in the US, it is priced at US$99.99 (~RM443). Nintendo Malaysia will likely offer it at its recommended retail price which, while still on the higher side, is more reasonable than current third-party listings.
In case you missed it, several stores in Malaysia are already selling the Alarmo for RM700–RM900, likely sourced from the Nintendo Switch Online exclusive run and imported for early adopters. With Nintendo’s official release and the end of its exclusivity period, prices may decrease over time.

Nintendo has yet to confirm which local retailers will carry the Alarmo. Additionally, the company states that the product will be available while stocks last, suggesting a limited allocation for the upcoming release window.
