Wacom has unveiled a major redesign of its Intuos Pro drawing tablets, marking the most significant update since the series debuted in 2013. The revamped lineup introduces a more compact, customizable, and user-friendly experience tailored to creative professionals.
The new Intuos Pro series is available in three sizes—Small, Medium, and Large. Despite their reduced overall dimensions, each model features a larger active drawing area, optimising space efficiency.

One significant change is the repositioning of user controls from the side to the top of the tablet, enhancing accessibility for both left- and right-handed users. Additionally, the traditional touch ring has been replaced with tactile mechanical dials, offering improved precision. The Small model includes a single dial, while the Medium and Large models feature two. The customizable ExpressKeys have also been refined into a round design, with five keys on the Small and ten on the larger models.
Another notable improvement in the new Intuos Pro series is its enhanced pen performance. The tablet ships with the Wacom Pro Pen 3, which provides high accuracy and customizable options to suit different workflows. It also maintains compatibility with previous-generation Wacom Pro Pens and third-party EMR styluses from brands such as Pilot, LAMY, and Staedtler.

Connectivity options include a wired USB-C connection and Bluetooth 5.3, allowing seamless switching between devices. Wacom states that the tablet offers up to 16 hours of battery life when used wirelessly. The accompanying software enables users to personalise the ExpressKeys and dials, ensuring a tailored experience for various creative tasks.
