realme has launched a new trade-in programme in Malaysia, allowing customers to bring in their older devices for a discount on a new smartphone. The company says that this initiative is meant to benefit customers from a cost savings perspective as well as having a positive effect on the environment.
The brand’s trade-in programme is available through its brand stores nationwide, where customers can bring in their eligible devices that are intact and functional and immediately get a quote for the trade-in value of their device to subsidise the cost of their next realme smartphone. It claims that the e-waste will be managed in a responsible manner.

A representative from the brand has informed us that the programme will cover over 2000 eligible devices from numerous brands. Moreover, the programme will also accept trade-ins of tablets and wearables such as smartwatches.
Customers can download the E-relife app on their phone before bringing it in to the store if they wish to get an estimate beforehand. To find out more, you can visit one of realme’s brand stores. You can find the nearest one to you by going to its website.
