Apple CEO Tim Cook has teased a new product announcement on X, confirming that it will be introduced on 19 February 2025. “Get ready to meet the newest member of the family,” he wrote, alongside a looping animation of the company’s logo.
While Apple has yet to reveal details, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman may have offered a clue. A day before Cook’s post, the reliable tipster reported that Apple’s next budget-friendly smartphone, the iPhone SE 4, is expected to launch around the same time.

Gurman also noted that the reveal was initially planned for this week but faced a delay. He added that an official announcement was imminent—something now confirmed by Cook’s teaser.
To recap, the upcoming iPhone SE 4 is rumoured to adopt an iPhone 14-like design, eliminating the physical home button in favour of Face ID and introducing Apple Intelligence. It is also expected to switch to USB-C charging in compliance with EU regulations and feature a single 48MP rear camera, reportedly using the same primary sensor as the iPhone 16.
New iPhone SE is still imminent and should be announced by next week, when the company is holding product briefings. Tomorrow there’s a smaller announcement. For Friday, Apple Vision Pro reps are reaching out to press about an announcement to come. M4 MacBook Air within weeks. https://t.co/UabWO0shjY

Apart from the entry-level iPhone model, Gurman claims that a Vision Pro-related announcement is also imminent, while details about a new M4 MacBook Air are expected ‘within weeks.’ Meanwhile, separate rumours suggest that the M3 iPad Air and iPad 11 could be introduced in the coming months.
