London-based tech brand Nothing may be working on its first over-ear headphones. According to Smartprix, a listing of an unknown device from the brand matching that description was recently discovered on testing, inspection and certification company SGS Fimko’s website.
All that’s revealed is the device’s model number (B170), product classification, and its ability to support 5W charging. It is not known what the device would look like, though it wouldn’t be surprising if it features Nothing’s signature design language, which utilises transparent elements.

For some fans, a pair of over-ear headphones from Nothing has been a long time coming. Given the company’s solid track record in producing commendable audio products, we can expect the upcoming device to feature high-end audio drivers, noise-cancelling technology, and more.
As for naming, there’s a chance the product might be called Head (1), a moniker used by founder and CEO Carl Pei when sharing fan-made Nothing headphone concepts back in 2022. Whether it will actually be called that remains to be seen.

That said, keep in mind this is still just a rumour. Smartprix did not provide a link or screenshot of the listing, so it’s best to take this information with a pinch of salt.
