It appears that Netflix is looking to introduce the web version of Netflix Games in Malaysia soon. According to Amanz, some users in the country can already access a beta version of the feature via a Chromium-based web browser. However, the new addition is unavailable on our end, so we are unable to verify this firsthand.
The publication notes that while the games are visible, they are currently unplayable. Attempting to play these games leads to connectivity errors, further indicating that the feature is not ready yet.
For the uninitiated, the TV and web versions of Netflix Games allows users to stream and play mobile games without additional cost to subscribers. Unlike on iOS and Android, users aren’t required to download each title, mirroring similar services such as NVIDIA’s GeForce Now.
Amanz adds that the selection of games is still limited compared to the available options on the app’s mobile counterpart. Among those available include Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit, Reigns, and Centipede Recharged.
There’s no official word on when Netflix Games will launch on the web in Malaysia. Nevertheless, its presence on some accounts suggests an imminent rollout.
