Details concerning the iPhone SE 4 seem to be leaking more aggressively, though a new one has appeared that doesn’t so much make a new claim as corroborate an existing one. This comes from serial leakster @evleaks on X, with an image that is claimed to have been colour corrected to “highlight the dynamic island”.
And indeed, from the image in question, the Dynamic Island is barely visible, looking just a little too large to be just the camera notch or cutout. These are claimed to be the visual assets for the iPhone SE 4, alongside the iPad Air M3 of both sizes as well as the iPad 11, as the preceding post shows code making references to the latter two devices.
On one hand, there’s the argument that this makes the look of the iPhone SE 4 ever closer to the iPhone 16, making some sense to the 16E name that was floated around since the start of the year. On the other, dummy units of the next SE shows that it will be retaining the old mute switch rather than the new Action button, as well as the single camera at the back.
At any rate, while this leak does make the claim of the iPhone SE 4 coming with a Dynamic Island more credible, it should still be taken with a pinch of salt. It should not be too long before we know for sure, as no new rumours have disputed the first quarter announcement claim for now.
