TiKTok users in the US got a roller coaster of a ride when the service was halted and then resumed not too long after. Seemingly in response, X, previously known as Twitter, as well as competitor Bluesky have rolled out a dedicated video feed.
On one hand, the Elon Musk platform has mentioned that the feature is rolling out in the States specifically, while Bluesky has left the post without mention of any market. For the former, it is represented by a Play button in between Grok and the notification button. On the latter, it’s less clear, but it looks to be accessed from the Trending Videos banner, with a Beta label next to it.
an immersive new home for videos is rolling out to users in the US today

On one hand, the timing of the announcement was likely in response to to the TikTok ban Stateside going into effect. But while it hasn’t returned to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, those who had it installed beforehand could start using the app again.
At the time of writing, X has not added the play button on our app, and in its place is the Communities button. It’s unclear if this is specifically a US-only feature or if it will eventually roll out to other markets.
