Sony has finally released the LinkBuds Speaker in Malaysia after confirming its arrival last October. The device is part of the company’s new generation of LinkBuds audio products, including the Fit and Open earbuds that were made available here shortly after their launch.
The LinkBuds Speaker is a portable wireless speaker that comes with a dedicated woofer and tweeter. Equipped with Bluetooth 5.2, it supports stereo pairing if you have two of them and it is even compatible with Auto Switch, which swaps the playback automatically between the speaker and LinkBuds earbuds.
Additionally, its smart features include Quick Access, which automatically plays from your favourite music streaming app with a dedicated button, and Auto Play, which lets your programme a scene with playlists. Battery-wise, the brand claims that the speaker can last up to 25 hours on a single charge. It is also fitted with a detachable strap for easy carrying and it has an IPX4 rating for splash resistance.
The LinkBuds Speaker is available in grey and black colour options with a price tag of RM899. It can be purchased through the brand’s website.
