The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition card, along with the RTX 5090 FE, are starting to make their way into the hands of reviewers. For one reviewer based in China, the excitement was clearly too much, so much so that they decided to post images of the card in all its glory on the Chinese social media platform, Bilibili, which had already been removed at the the time of this publication.

In addition to the card, the reviewer has seemingly confirmed some details about the RTX 5080 FE. Firstly, the review embargo is set to lift on 29 January. Well, technically speaking, they said that it was the “first day” of the Chinese New Year, which is the date itself. Mind you, this is for the FE, and reviews for AIB partner cards are set for a later date.

Additional information suggests that the RTX 5080 will ship out with a triple 8-pin-to-12VHPWR power adapter, allowing for up to 450W (3 x 150W) to flow into the card. It’s an identical cable configuration to the RTX 4080, which also means that the RTX 5090, like its direct predecessor, will ship out with a 4×8-pin adapter.

The GeForce RTX 5080 will have a starting SRP of US$999 (~RM4,497).
