realme has launched its new 14 Pro series in India, which includes a new standard Pro model as well as the Pro Plus that was introduced in China. The Pro does not get the periscope telephoto lens and ultra-wide lens of the Plus and the charging speed is much slower than the latter, but it does get a brighter display.
The 14 Pro sports a 6.77-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, an HDR peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and a global peak brightness of 1,400 nits. Inside, the mid-ranger runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset while for durability, it comes with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance but no additional display protection.
For imaging, the Pro features a smaller 50MP main sensor with OIS and a depth sensor, while the front houses a 16MP selfie snapper. Powering the device is a large 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W charging. Biometrics-wise, it is equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner whereas on the connectivity side, it supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.
The 14 Pro comes in black, pink, and white colour options with a price tag of INR22,999 (~RM1,195). For now, it is unknown when the series will make its way to Malaysia.
