Casio continues its collaboration with Bandai-Namco’s popular Pac-Man franchise, with an all-new collection celebrating its upcoming 45th Anniversary. The series includes four models—A168WEPC-7A, F-91WPC, CA-53WPC, and ABL-100WEPC—each featuring the iconic aesthetics of the game while retaining the practical functionality that the watchmaker is renowned for. Most of these are now available in Malaysia.
Each watch in the collection comes packaged in a unique Pac-Man-themed box that complements its design. The CA-53WPC-1B, for instance, arrives in arcade-inspired packaging, while others feature neon-style patterns that mirror their respective watch faces.
First off, we have the A168WEPC-7A, which stands out with its silver dial adorned with a detailed Pac-Man maze graphic and images of the game’s central characters, including Pac-Man and the ghosts Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde. The clasp and luminous LCD display are engraved with the playful “WAKA WAKA” phrase, and the watch features an electroluminescent backlight, stopwatch, daily alarm, and water resistance. Casio says this model sports a battery life of eight years.
Next, we have the F-91WPC-1A, a compact and lightweight design, weighing just 21 grams. Its neon graphics and vibrant Pac-Man character imagery bring a nostalgic charm. Despite its small size, it offers a range of practical features, including a stopwatch, daily alarm, backlight, and an automatic calendar that extends to 2099. Like the A168WEPC-7A, this model also boasts a seven-year battery life.
Perhaps the more interesting entry from the bunch, the CA-53WPC-1B reimagines Casio’s classic calculator watch with a Pac-Man twist. Its yellow bezel and bioresin bracelet evoke the feel of an arcade machine. Equipped with an 8-digit calculator, dual time capability, a stopwatch, and water resistance, this watch blends retro gaming flair with functional versatility. Battery-wise, Casio says this model is capable of lasting up to five years before a replacement to its battery is required.
Lastly, we have the ABL-100WEPC-1B, which comes with modern features such as Bluetooth connectivity, step tracking, dual time, and a two-year battery life. With a durable steel bracelet, it caters to active users looking for a balance between style and utility. This model is said to last approximately two years on its included battery.
All of Casio’s Pac-Man 45th Anniversary collaboration timepieces, with the exception of the ABL-100WEPC-1B, are now available via the brand’s online store as well as authorised retailers nationwide. The A168WEPC-7A is priced at RM499, the F-91WPC-1A at RM329, and the CA-53WPC-1B at RM399.
