Maybank has announced two scheduled system maintenance periods, during which, many of its services will be unavailable to its customers. With this announcement, the bank’s customers are advised to plan ahead in case they have any transactions they plan to make during the maintenance.
The temporary downtimes will take place on 8 February 2025 and 15 February 2025 between the hours of 3AM and 7AM. The impacted services are DuitNow (including domestic transfers and requests), DuitNow overseas transfers, JomPay, instant transfers, ATM and CDM cash withdrawals, interbank GIRO transfers, FPX payments, direct debit, and QRPay payments.
While it may seem inconvenient, the bank has previously stated that these maintenances are to ensure that its platforms are up to date and secure. Thankfully, the upcoming downtimes will not take as long as some of its previous scheduled maintenances, which can run from midnight to 7AM.
