Hints of the OPPO Find N5 getting launched soon are already around and about, though it may not be debuting alone. According to a company exec, it will be launching alongside the company’s next smartwatch, the Watch X2, with said launch happening pretty soon.
This comes via OPPO product manager Zhou Yibao’s post on Chinese social media Weibo. The Watch X2 was identified by name, as well as its launch alongside the Find N5 in February. The phone is also claimed to be the “world’s thinnest folding flagship”.
Said post does come with an image of a watch, though it remains to be seen if that’s what the OPPO Watch X2 will actually look like, as it looks like it has a case over it to keep its design a mystery. That being said, the post mentions Zhou getting a prompt, telling him that there’s a risk of hypertension, with the text on the screen indicating that the wearable has a blood pressure sensor.
As mentioned, earlier, the post notes that the OPPO Watch X2 will be launching pretty soon alongside the Find N5. Slightly more specifically, it will happen in February, but the exact date was omitted. For what it’s worth, the first Watch X launched locally on 1 March last year, which may or may not be an indication of when it will happen for the X2.
