Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) has released a set of images believed to be official product renders of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 line-up. As usual, the source of the leak is unclear, but given Blass’ track record, the renders appear credible.
What’s shown is nothing new, as it merely gives us a better look at the front and rear designs of all three models. However, the images do seemingly confirm the various leaks that came before this, most notably the much rounded corners on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This change aligns the Ultra’s design more closely with the rest of the series, moving away from the Galaxy Note-inspired aesthetic it previously retained.
All three Galaxy S25 variants also have a different design for their camera circle-islands, while the screen bezels seem smaller compared to their respective predecessors. A leaked photo of the Plus variant appearing in the wild exhibited a Camera Control-like button on the device’s right-hand side, but many have pointed out that this may just be the mmWave 5G antenna that’s often found on certain versions of Samsung’s phones in select regions, such as the US.
Additionally, the three phones are all rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset across the world. Rumours claim the Ultra is getting a 50 MP ultrawide camera, while the base Galaxy S25 finally jumps to 12GB of RAM. So far, those are basically the only changes compared to last year’s line-up in terms of specifications.
Interestingly, Blass’ leak did not include the rumored Galaxy S25 Slim, a new variant anticipated this year. Its absence raises questions about its existence, but confirmation will likely come during Samsung’s Unpacked event. Speaking of which, the event is confirmed to be taking place next week on 23 January 2025 at 2am local time, and will be streamed live through the company’s website and social media channels.
