Alongside its new Note 14 series, Xiaomi has also unveiled the prices of several Redmi devices for the Malaysian market, including the Buds 6 series and the Watch 5. The latter consists of two models with both sporting Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) features.
The Buds 6 features ANC that can reduce noise up to 49dB and it also includes noise cancellation during phone calls as well as adaptive transparency mode. Moreover, the earbuds support 360-degree spatial audio and audio share with Xiaomi devices. As for its battery life, the buds can last up to 10 hours on a single charge with a total usage time of 42 hours when combined with the charging case.
On the other hand, the Buds 6 Pro is fitted with 11mm drivers and dual tweeters, offering high-resolution wireless audio combined with a customisable EQ. The ANC features blocks up to 55dB of noise and the earbuds support both spatial audio and head tracking. Xiaomi claims that the Pro can provide up to 9.5 hours of playback on a single charge with a total battery life of 36 hours with the case.
Let’s not forget the brand’s new smartwatch, which gets a 2.07-inch AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,500 nits. The Watch 5 offers a 24-day battery life and comes with a built-in microphone and speaker for Bluetooth phone calls.
Inside, the watch is packed with the usual health and fitness sensors to track your heart rate, blood oxygen levels, sleep, and more. With on-device GPS, the smartwatch can log plenty of workouts with support for over 150 sports modes. For durability, it is certified with a 5ATM water resistance rating, meaning it can be worn in a pool.
The Redmi Buds 6 retails at RM199 while the Pro model gets a RM299 price tag, although you can get early bird pricing from 11 to 24 January at RM149 and RM249 respectively. Meanwhile, the Watch 5 is priced at RM459, but early birds can get it at RM359. The devices can be purchased through Xiaomi’s official website, Shopee and Lazada stores, as well as authorised retailers.
