Ahead of the launch of the realme 14 Pro series, the brand has officially confirmed the details of the upcoming Buds Wireless 5 ANC. The earbuds come in the form of a Bluetooth-enabled neckband that succeeds last year’s Buds Wireless 3.
The Buds Wireless 5 ANC is equipped with 50dB hybrid active noise cancellation (ANC), with three levels of noise reduction. In addition to this, it supports noise cancellation during phone calls, meaning that your voice will sound more clear for the person on the other end.
For the battery life, the brand claims that these buds can last up to 38 hours on a single charge. On the durability side, it comes with an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance. While its colour options have not been confirmed yet, it has been reported that it will be offered in black, silver, and purple colour options.
The Buds Wireless 5 ANC will launch in India on 16 January along with the company’s latest mid-range smartphone lineup. For now, it is unknown if the neckband-style earphones will be released in Malaysia. Pricing-wise, its predecessor retailed at INR1,299 (~RM68), so we can expect something along that point.
