Touch ‘n Go (TnG) has announced that its new extendable charm is now restocked on its official Shopee online store. This innovative product combines a TnG NFC charm with an extension stick, making it particularly convenient for payments at toll booths.
First introduced in late December last year, the TnG Extendable Charm is inspired by the “fly swatter” stick often used by highway drivers in Peninsular Malaysia. Unlike traditional sticks with a slot for TnG cards, this official product features a built-in NFC-enabled charm attached to a stick that extends up to 50cm, offering greater reach.
Being the first of its kind, TnG only the Cat Edition of the Extendable Charm is available for now. As revealed during a media session earlier today, the company promises to introduce more designs down the line, soonest in a couple of months.
At the time of writing, the Extendable Charm – Cat Edition is still available on TnG’s official Shopee store, priced at RM35. However, given its popularity during the initial release, stock may run out quickly. For those unable to secure one online, TnG has assured customers that the product will also be restocked at its Bangsar South and NU Sentral stores soon.
