Beyond the two chairs, gaming peripheral maker Razer had a bunch of other stuff revealed as part of its CES 2025 lineup. Some of these, we’ve at least seen being done by other brands, but then there are some of these that are really out there.
Let’s start with what seems like the most ridiculous one of the lot, the Razer Monitor Stand Chroma. Yes, it is as the name suggests, it’s a piece of aluminium that elevates your screen, while also allowing space for your keyboard or laptop to sit underneath. And as is the gamer aesthetic standard, you get Chroma RGB lighting. But to justify a monitor stand consuming power, you also get the benefit of a built-in connectivity hub, with a USB-C 3.2 port, two USB-A 3.2 ports and a HDMI 2.0 port running through it. The stand itself connects to your rig via a USB-C cable.
Then there’s the Razer Aether Standing Light Bars. While this is mostly decorative for the most decked out of gaming setups, it’s at least something we’ve seen before with the JBL PartyLight Stick. At any rate, with these you get front-facing and rear-projecting lights via 30 LEDs powered by a USB-C cable. With support for the Matter smart home standard, you can use it elsewhere if you so choose.
Finally, there’s the Razer Handheld Dock Chroma. Think of the Nintendo Switch and its dock, and that’s basically that this does, but for handheld gaming PCs like the Steam Deck, as well as mobile devices like phones and tablets. It supports 100W pass through with up to 85W power delivery, with three USB-A ports, one USB-C port, one HDMI 2.0 port and a 1Gb RJ45 ethernet port.
All three of these ship at the tail end of January, with the Razer Monitor Stand Chroma coming first on 28 January and for RM949. This is then followed by the Handheld Dock Chroma on 30 January, with a RM379 asking price. As for the Aether Standing Light Bars, the company’s online store notes a shipping date of 31 January, but did not provide a local price, at least at the time of writing. Internationally, it costs US$99.99 (~RM450).
