realme has officially launched the Note 60x in Malaysia. The phone is an even cheaper version of the already affordable Note 60, with nearly identical specs and design. However, with the lower price tag does come with some sacrifices, as the x version lacks a fingerprint scanner and gets a downgraded camera and durability rating.
The entry-level phone sports a 6.74-inch 720p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 560 nits. Under the hood, it runs on the same Unisoc T612 chipset and is paired with a single 4GB+64GB configuration that also comes with a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
On the imaging side, the budget device is equipped with an 8MP main camera, a depth sensor, and a 5MP front snapper. Powering it is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging. As for connectivity, it supports 4G, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.0, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Software-wise, it ships with realme UI based on Android 14 with a promise of four years of fluency.
The Note 60x retails at RM349, RM50 less than its vanilla counterpart, and is offered in green and black colour options. It can be purchased through the brand’s official Shopee and Lazada stores.
UPDATE: realme has clarified that the Note 60x’s retail price is actually RM369, with the RM349 being a promo price with vouchers.
