While the stars of today’s launch event were the Reno13 range of devices, OPPO had snuck in two more of its products in for the event. These were the Pad 3 Matte Display Edition, though it’s unclear if it’s the same model that was spotted in the SIRIM database when the base model launched in its home market.
That being said, the OPPO Pad 3 Matte Display Edition is nearly completely identical to the base model that was first revealed back in November last year. The only difference is, as the name suggests, the Anti-Reflective Matte Display layer on top of the 11.61-inch 2,800 x 2,000 144Hz LCD screen, though this does lower the max brightness down by 200 nits.
The chipset in the OPPO Pad 3 Matte Display Edition is the familiar MediaTek Dimensity 8350 that we’ve seen from two of the three Reno13 models. For its cameras, it has an 8MP camera in front and at the back. Powering the device is a 9,520 mAh battery with 67W charging.
Coming only in one configuration of 8GB + 256GB, the OPPO Pad 3 Matte Display Edition is priced at RM1,999. The company says that it is already available for purchase, and if you get it before 28 February, you can get its Smart Keyboard for free when it would otherwise cost RM499.
