Following the launch in China back in November, the OPPO Reno13 series have now made their way to our shores. Unlike the launch in its home market though, all three variants of the device – the base, Pro and F models – have made a simultaneous appearance in the local market.
As a quick refresher, the OPPO Reno13 Pro sports a 6.83-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Inside, it packs a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, a 5,800 mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. Its camera setup involves a 50MP main + 50MP 3.5x optical zoom + 8MP wide-angle camera combo, and another 50MP shooter in front.
Then there’s the base model with a similar screen shrunk down slightly to 6.59 inches, and the same chipset as the Pro model. The battery is shrunk down slightly to 5,600 mAh, but it retains the 8W wired charging. Its camera setup is mostly the same, except the telephoto zoom camera has been replaced with a 2MP depth sensor.
Finally, we get to the OPPO Reno13 F. Mostly the odd one out, this one comes with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, also with 120Hz refresh rate, but the chipset here is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. Battery is rated at 5,800 mAh, but charging is limited to 45W. At the back, the camera setup here is a 50MP main + 8MP wide-angle +2MP macro combo, and it’s the only one in the series to sport a 32MP secondary shooter.
All three models of the OPPO Reno13 series are available for pre-order from now until10 January, after which you’ll be able to find them on shelves. The Pro model only has one configuration, which is a 12GB + 512GB combo, costing RM2,999. Then there’s the base model with 12GB of RAM, with a choice of 256GB or 512GB of storage space, with RM2,299 and RM2,599 price tags respectively. And finally, the F model sports the most configurations, which ar 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB. These cost RM1,399, RM1,499 and RM1,799 respectively.
