Camera grip accessories for smartphones have come and gone, but you can never truly count them out permanently. Belkin has added another one to the list, called the Stage PowerGrip, as part of its CES 2025 lineup.
To start, the Stage PowerGrip is actually a power bank that attaches to the back of phones magnetically. While MagSafe comes immediately to mind it’s not the specific phrase that the company used to describe it. When attached this way, it provides 7.5W of wireless charging to the phone it’s attached to.
Beyond the device it is attached to, the Belkin Stage PowerGrip also has a retractable US-C cable that allows it to charge a second device if you feel so inclined. Then it gets additional USB-C output ports to charge even more things, which it can afford to do thanks to its 10,000 mAh capacity. There’s an LED screen that shows the remaining charge too.
As you’d expect from the way it looks, the Belkin Stage PowerGrip has a button that allows it to act as a physical shutter to the device it is paired with. And finally, the way the grip portion is angled allows it to also serve as a stand.
In the official release, the company says that the Stage PowerGrip will be releasing in May, but no price has been announced for it just yet. No word on local availability either, but we’ll likely find out once we get closer to the release window.
