Google Wallet has been gradually adding more and more local bank cards to its list of supported cards. It looks like two more have been added in recent times, with one of them being the first digital bank to have gotten support for it. These are Boost Bank, as well as Alliance Bank.
According to the Google Wallet support page, those with a Boost Bank Mastercard debit card can now add them to the internet search giant’s digital wallet. As for Alliance Bank, the digital wallet now takes the bank’s Visa credit cards.
This added support to Google Wallet is particularly notable for Boost Bank as not only was it launched in the middle of last year, its debit card was only introduced in October. It’s probably worth pointing out at this point that it also got its 2% cashback a month after launch.
Either way, this is good news for customers of both Boost Bank and Alliance Bank who also make use of Google Wallet. Those who feel so inclined now have one less card that they need to carry around. Of course, the digital wallet already has a pretty extensive list of supported cards from other banks prior to these recent additions, which you can check by hitting the link below.
