Recently, renders that are claimed to be based on a late prototype of the OnePlus Open 2 made their way online. Based on the predecessor model, chances are this will get a rebadged version under OPPO, presumably named the Find N5. This exact model has since been spotted in the SIRIM database.
The listing was, well, listed on New Year’s Eve, though as is usually the case with SIRIM entries, there’s not much else in terms of details to be gleamed here. That being the case, The Tech Outlook also found the OPPO Find N5 in a separate database which does share some camera specs.
More specifically, this was spotted in the Camera FV 5 database, with a rear camera being listed as 12.6MP. This would line up with the pixel count of an image shot with a 50MP camera post 2×2 pixel binning. Another bit of detail here is a 7.1MP front-facing camera, again post pixel binning. This diverges from prior leaks which claim a 32MP and 20MP combo of some sort, though it’s possibly the result of the former being cropped down to 28MP.
On that note, other leaks of the OPPO Find N5, or more specifically the OnePlus Open 2, include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and 5,900 mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. The main screen is an 8-inch 120Hz display, with a 6.4-inch AMOLED outer screen, plus an IPX8 rating for the whole package.
