When Samsung announced the Galaxy S24 series, the South Korean tech giant also announced its own Galaxy AI to go with them. The company made a promise that the marquee feature will be free until 2025, which leads to more questions of its own. For the successor series though, it’s possible that the company is giving away some months of subscription to Google Gemini Advanced for free instead.
Android Authority reports that code within the Google app beta, specifically v15.52.37, contains indications of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series being bundled with Google Gemini Advanced. The report first mentions four lines of code indicating a Samsung device coming bundled with three, six, nine months, or a year of Gemini Advanced.
Going further down, the report notes the mention of the Samsung Galaxy S25 specifically. Though this name specifically applies to both the series and the base model within the series, it’s unclear which model gets which subscription duration. The report does speculate that the base model gets three months of Gemini Advanced for free, with the Plus getting six and the Ultra getting a year.
That does still leave the nine-month subscription not being tied to any of the models. This could still apply for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim, though recent reports point to it not launching with the rest of the family.
