Intel is supposedly preparing an Arc Battlemage Pro Series Series. Not only that but there will reportedly be a 24GB model in the lineup aimed at the “productivity market”.
For the uninitiated: typically or rather, traditionally, graphics cards with a “Pro” moniker tend are cards that aren’t meant for the wider general consumer. Case in point, AMD has Radeon Pro, while NVIDIA differentiates itself with the Quadro lineup.

According to Quantum Bits, Intel’s Battlemage Pro card will essentially be using the same GPU currently used in the Arc B580, which is the BGM-G21. Unfortunately, they don’t provide any additional details. That being said, it is possible that such a Battlemage Pro GPU will be targeted at creators, data centres, edge computing, and of course, Large Language Models (LLMs) for AI inferencing and Generative AI purposes.
On another note, if this rumours turns out to be real, it would mark the first time that Intel has ever made a Pro variant of its Arc GPUs – the chipmaker never launched a Pro model of its Arc Alchemist lineup although to be fair, that was the start of its GPU endeavours and honestly, it would not have been a sound business decision making a Pro version of a product that was still in its infancy stage.
