Having pretty recently revamped plans, Tune Talk has announced that it will now be able to also launch new prepaid plans at a rapid pace. This is thanks to the completion of its migration process to the cloud, or more specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS).
With this, Tune Talk also claims that it is the country’s first fully cloud-enabled telco operator, allowing it “to deliver faster, more personalised services”. Which translates to being able to “launch new prepaid products twice as fast, cutting development time by 50%” while still keeping them tailored to address user needs.
As part of the announcement, Tune Talk says that it is also “actively exploring AWS Bedrock and Generative AI capabilities to further enhance its service offerings”. This is described as being used to “anticipate customer needs, optimise performance, and drive future-ready telco services, safely and securely”. Though with all that being said, it remains to be seen what form exactly will the result of all this take, especially when it comes to the aforementioned new pre-paid plans.
Tune Talk co-founder and executive director Gurtaj Singh was quoted as saying that the telco “is now operating at a pace and efficiency that redefines what’s possible in the telco space”. Early last month, he increased his stake in the company from 15.4% to 37%, making him the majority shareholder of the company he co-founded.
