ASUS is officially announcing its new Vivobook S14 laptop today. It is the latest Copilot+ PC to be added to the brand’s product portfolio and the second 14-inch Lunar Lake laptop that we’ve seen from it, the first being the Zenbook S14.
On the subject of Lunar Lake, the Vivobook S14 comes in two CPU flavours: the Core Ultra 5 226V and the beefier Core Ultra 7 258V. Regardless of processor choice, the laptop features a 14-inch FHD+ (1,920 x 1,200) OLED 16:10 display but isn’t touch-capable. It also has a maximum refresh rate of 60Hz but does have a peak HDR brightness of 600 nits.
Moving on, the Vivobook S14 is also loaded with up to 32GB LPDDR5X-8533 RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe 4.0 storage. For connectivity, you’ve got Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, the latter depending on the SKU you’re choosing. Ports-wise, there’s two USB-A 3.2 Gen1, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one HDMI 2.1 port, a 3.5mm Audio combo jack, and a microSD card reader.
ASUS says that the Vivobook S14 will be available starting Mid-January 2025 onwards. Pricing starts from RM4,799 for the model with the Core Ultra 5, 16GB, and 512GB storage. The second SKU, which sports the Core Ultra 7, 32GB RAM and 1TB storage configuration, will cost RM5,299.
