Huawei has announced a new launch taking place in Malaysia next week, which will see the arrival of the Mate X6, the nova 13 series, and more. Happening on 18 December 2024, the company’s Shopee store is advertising that the launch event will also introduce the Freebuds Pro 4 earbuds along with a new rose gold colour for the FreeClip.
The Mate X6 is the latest foldable from the brand, sporting a bigger 7.93-inch main display and a 6.45-inch cover screen while being thinner than its predecessor at only 4.6mm when unfolded. It features an improved 50MP primary camera with OIS and a variable aperture alongside a 48MP telephoto lens with OIS and 4x optical zoom, and a 40MP ultra-wide lens. The foldable phone is powered by a larger 5,110mAh battery with support for 66W wired and 50W wireless charging.
On the other hand, the nova 13 series is its new mid-range lineup made up of a vanilla and a Pro model. The former gets a 6.7-inch OLED display while the latter gets an LTPO OLED display, both with 120Hz refresh rates.
For imaging, both of them are fitted with the same 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 60MP selfie snapper, but only the Pro gets a 12MP telephoto lens and a secondary 8MP front shooter. The two phones are powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 100W charging.
