Astro has successfully renewed its broadcasting rights for the English Premier League (EPL) and Emirates FA Cup for the next three seasons, covering 2025/26 to 2027/28. This renewal cements the company’s long-standing partnership with EPL, ensuring fans can continue enjoying access to the world’s most popular football league.
Under the renewed deal, Astro will broadcast all 380 EPL matches in high definition (HD), with selected games available in 4K Ultra HD. The coverage will also include the full Emirates FA Cup tournament, along with original programming such as magazine shows, exclusive interviews and pitchside presentations.
Astro customers can access the English Premier League through the Astro One Sports Pack, priced at RM99.99 per month. This package includes other sports content, such as the Malaysian League, Formula 1, MotoGP, NBA and more, along with access to Astro GO for two concurrent users and the beIN Sports app. For those seeking a more extensive offering, the Astro One Epic Pack combines the Sports Pack together with the Entertainment Pack for RM199.99 per month.
Astro has also pledged to tackle piracy in collaboration with the Premier League and law enforcement agencies. According to the company, this joint effort employs a multi-faceted strategy, including public awareness campaigns highlighting the risks of illegal streaming. By curbing piracy, Astro and the Premier League aim to sustain their investment in high-quality coverage and enhance the viewing experience for fans.
