The Zotac Gaming Zone is now available for preorder and will be distributed by Sun Cycle Malaysia. The console will cost RM3,899 and will officially go sale on 13 December.
To recap on the specs of the Gaming Zone, the handheld is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 8840U, 16GB LPDDR5X-7500 RAM, and a 48.5Whr 3-cell battery. For storage, the handheld ships out with a 512GB NVMe 4.0 SSD with room of expansion via the onboard UHS-II microSD card slot.
Outside, the Gaming Zone sports a 7-inch FHD AMOLED display, along with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 800 nits. For controls, both the analog sticks and trigger buttons on the shoulders use hall effect sensors, eliminating any possibility for stick drift and minimising dead zones.
In addition, the console comes with radial dials around the analog sticks, as well as dual trackpads on both sides of the console, similar to the way the Steam Deck. Connectivity-wise, the Gaming Zone features two USB4 port, located at the top and bottom of the console, along with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.
Along with the Gaming Zone, consumers can also purchase a dedicated Docking Station worth RM289 and a Carrying Case worth RM189. In conjunction with the launch, Sun Cycle is offering those who preorder the console the Carrying Case for free, while the Docking Station can be purchased at a special price of RM199, while stocks last and until the the end of the year.
