Ahead of its official launch, HONOR has officially revealed the price of the X9c Smart. Described as a lite version of the X9c, the phone comes with a much lower price tag with a RM400 difference, but still comes with a lot of the durability claims.
As per our report from last week, the X9c Smart will be priced at RM1,099 with an 8GB+256GB configuration; it will be available for purchase starting 11 December. Moreover, the company has announced that the X5b Plus can now be purchased through its physical stores and authorised retailers, with a retail price of RM429.
The X9c Smart sports a 6.8-inch 1080p LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 850 nits. Under the hood, it runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 7025-Ultra and is powered by a 5,800mAh with support for 35W. For connectivity, it supports 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC.
On the imaging side, the mid-ranger features a 108MP main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 16MP front shooter. Just like the vanilla X9c, it comes with drop, scratch, and water resistance, but does not have an official IP rating.
As for the X5b Plus, it is fitted with a 6.56-inch 720p LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 530 nits. Internally, it is packed with a MediaTek Helio G36 chip paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.
Photography-wise, it comes with a 50MP primary sensor, a depth sensor, and a 5MP selfie snapper. Backing the budget phone is a 5,200mAh cell with support for 10W charging. The smartphone also supports 4G, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.1.
