Infinix has officially launched the Hot 50 4G, the third model in the affordable lineup to arrive in Malaysia. Priced in between the 5G model and the Hot 50i, it offers an upgraded display but a downgraded processor.
The 4G version is fitted with a 6.78-inch 1080p LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 800 nits. Under the hood, you will find a MediaTek Helio G100 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage. For connectivity, it supports 4G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, NFC, and it comes with a headphone jack.
On the optics side, the entry-level phone features a 50MP main camera with two secondary sensors along with an 8MP front shooter. Powering the affordable device is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging and bypass charging. Software-wise, it ships with XOS 14.5 based on Android 14 while for security, it is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Additionally, it does not seem to have the IP54 rating that its 5G counterpart comes with.
The Hot 50 4G comes in five colour options and retails at RM499. You can purchase it through the brand’s Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop stores as well as through authorised retailers.
