vivo has officially launched the iQOO 13 in Malaysia, the latest flagship smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. As with its predecessor, it is one of the most affordable, if not the most affordable, flagships currently on the market, offering two configurations.
First up is the display, which uses a larger 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, a global peak brightness of 1,800 nits, and an HDR peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Underneath the chassis is the newest high-end chipset from Qualcomm as well as vivo’s in0house Q2 gaming chip, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. On the durability side, it comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
For imaging, the rear features a triple 50MP camera setup made up of the main sensor with OIS, a telephoto lens with OIS and 2X optical zoom, and an ultra-wide lens, while front houses a 32MP selfie shooter. Powering the flagship is a significantly larger 6,150mAh battery with support for 120W charging.
Connectivity-wise, it supports 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC while on the software side, it ships with Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 equipped with Circle To Search. Additionally, it comes with an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner and a giant LED light ring on the back for notifications and other gimmicks.
The iQOO 13 starts from RM3,499 for the 12GB +256GB variant while the 16GB+512GB model costs RM3,699. It can be pre-ordered through vivo’s Shopee and Lazada stores from now until 6 December, with these early orders packaged together with a free pair of earbuds, two years of screen protection, and an extended warranty. Moreover, students and lecturers can enjoy a RM300 discount on the phone.
