Tecno has quietly unveiled a new tablet called the MegaPad 11 in Ghana. It is a budget tablet that comes with a big display and an entry-level processor, although it still offers better internals than the MegaPad 10 that was launched back in October.
The MegaPad 11 sports an 11-inch 1920×1200 LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 440 nits. It runs on a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, along with a microSD card slot for storage expansion of up 512GB. For connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and 4G.
For video calling, the tablet is fitted with a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP front sensors, and quad speakers that support Dolby Atmos. Powering the device is an 8,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging. On the software side, it ships with Android 14 and is packaged together with numerous AI features including on-screen translation, text editor, call noise cancellation, and a voice assistant.
The MegaPad comes in green and grey colour options and retails from GHS2935 (~RM869) for the base 8GB+128GB trim. It is unknown when the tablet will be released in other markets, but we can expect it to arrive in Malaysia relatively soon given that it has been listed on the SIRIM database.
