Casio Malaysia has introduced a limited edition model of its DW-5600 timepiece in collaboration with Selangor Football Club. Inspired by the team’s motto, the watch is known officially as the “Lambang Kebanggaan” DW-5600SFC24-4 and features its signature colour theme. It should also be noted that Casio has been Selangor FC’s official timekeeper since 2023.
The timepiece offers the classic DW-5600 design and features. Being a collaboration with Selangor FC, it features red as the dominant colour and yellow accents, which are also the signature colours of the Selangor state flag. As a nice touch, toggling its LED backlight will display the team’s emblem on the watch face.
“The collaboration model is a true gem for the club’s fans, embodying the spirit of both G-SHOCK and Selangor FC,” Casio said in its press release. “It celebrates the pride of unity shared through the ups and downs with the Red Giants.”
Only 1,000 units of the new Lambang Kebanggaan DW-5600SFC24-4 watch will be available, priced at RM495. Starting 7 December 2024, those interested can purchase it directly at authorised Casio stores nationwide. The company notes the watch was initially offered through its online stores during the weekend, but are already sold out at the time of writing.
